De Knappe Ontdekker Maasmechelen Bee Happy

Insects make up a large part of biodiversity worldwide, both in number of species and amount of biomass. They are nature’s scavengers, are themselves food for many other animals, and some species are essential for the pollination of our fruit and vegetable crops.

The students will visit the blossoms and the bees (owv corona a virtual visit). Soil plays an important role in food production, the purification of water, the exchanges of gases with the atmosphere. (soil investigation) After needs assessment – > we investigate the different forms of access to their shelter that these insects need. A construction is a realization that consists of several parts.

That is certainly the case with our insect hotel.
